ACTION THIS DAY

Brian founded ACTION THIS DAY in 2009. Prior to launching the charity, Brian spent several months teaching in Bamburi where ACTION THIS DAY’s first project takes place.

Prior to this Brian had also taught English to students from rural areas in Indonesia, who were being trained as teachers at a university in Jakarta.

Prior to focusing on charity work, Brian worked as an IT consultant and project manager for several large Australian companies such as Telstra, Sensis, ANZ and AGL.

Ritah Mathenge joined the Kookaburra Community School as an assistant director in January 2011.

Prior to joining the school, Ritah had worked for several other charitable projects including the International Humanity Foundation, the Government IDP camps and the Good Samaritans Children’s Home & Rehabilitation.

Prior to focusing full-time on charity work, Ritah worked for 5 years in the Information Technology field in Kenya, in various roles including Installation Manager and Sales Account Manager.
